The results of the first period of the "Patent-Based Technology Transfer Support Call" opened by TÜBİTAK have been announced. Four inventions developed by METU faculty members and licensed to leading companies in their field have been awarded.

Prof. Dr. Barış Binici from Department of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Bilge Demirköz from Department of Physics, Prof. Dr. Vasıf Hasırcı from BIOMATEN and Prof. Dr. Erhan İlhan Konukseven from the Department of Mechanical Engineering were entitled to support. In this call, METU's success rate was 80 percent.
